1. Subscription – Membership is FREE!
It takes only a few minutes to register. Shop the items you need, choose the subscription period and at checkout complete the registration by recording billing and shipping details.
- Choose your pet’s favourite food.
- Set delivery frequency (every week, every fortnight, every month, every 6 weeks, every two months, every 10 weeks, every 3 months or select any renewal frequency/date from the dashboard to suit your requirement)
- Your pet’s favourite food is dispatched on renewal of the delivery subscription frequency.
- Free shipping for orders over $79 to anywhere in North Island. Shipping fee applies for South Island and Great Barrier Island deliveries.
No Contract, no membership fee, change products, brands, subscription frequency, renewal dates and cancel at any time.
Pet Food Club service is Hassle Free Convenience – No wasting time at Supermarkets or Pet Stores or lifting and carrying bags and boxes or worrying about running out of food for your loved ones. Leave them to us! We do all the hard work for you.
We are flexible;
- You can change subscription frequency, bag size, products, amend renewal dates – bring forward the renewal date if you are running low on food or defer the order if you have sufficient food at any time.
Renewal Reminders;
- Two days before the subscription is due to renew an email reminder is sent informing you of the upcoming renewal. This gives you an opportunity to review the upcoming order and update if necessary.
2. Everyday Low Prices
Our promise is Everyday Low Prices. we aim to bring the best price everyday. Our subscription prices offer the best value for money to feed your fur babies. We will Price Match if you find a cheaper everyday price (excludes one off sales, promotions & first order discounts) provided the everyday price is not below our cost price.
We offer premium brands of pet food at everyday low prices.
All currency shown on the website is in NZ dollars.
3. Price Change Policy
Our subscription and on-time purchase prices remain consistent and will change only when the manufacturer and/or the brand owner implements price changes.
- Our prices are adjusted when stock is replenished and not when the manufacturer and/or brand owner notify us of the price increase. In most cases we notified of price increase 30 -45 days before the price increase is implemented by the manufacturer and/or the brand owner.
- We attempt to defer and delay the passing of the manufacturer/brand owner’s price increases to our customers for as long as we possibly can by bulk purchasing and holding larger volumes of stock once we are notified of a price increase.
4. Delivery
North Island & Waiheke Island
Orders over $79.00 are delivered free. Orders below $79 incur $5.50 shipping fee.
Click & Collect orders do not require minimum value i.e. orders of any value can be opted as click & collect. No shipping fee is payable on click & collect orders.
South Island
Shipping fee is payable for South Island deliveries and is charged at the checkout based on weight of the order.
Up to 10kg = $8.21
Up to 20kg = $15.88
40kg = $31.76
40+kg = $15.88 per additional 20kg, for example shipping cost for order weighing 60kg will $47.64, 80kg = $63.52 and so forth.
South Island Rural Surcharge of $5.00 applies to all South Island rural deliveries.
Great Barrier Island
Shipping fee is payable for Great Barrier Island deliveries and is charged at the checkout based on weight of the order.
Up to 10kg = $8.21
Up to 20kg = $15.88
40kg = $31.76
40+kg = $15.88 per additional 20kg, for example shipping cost for order weighing 60kg will $47.64, 80kg = $63.52 and so forth.
Orders will be shipped on renewal or receipt of the order. Orders paying using internet banking payment method will be shipped on receipt of payment.
If you wish to change the renewal date of any order, please email sales@petfoodclub.co.nz and we’ll update it according to your request.
5. Returns
We have hassle-free return policy. If you purchased any item by mistake or error, please return them to us for reimbursement. Items returned should be in condition of purchase and return should be made within 14 days of purchase.
You are responsible for the cost and risk of returning the goods to us. You should send the goods to our warehouse at 3 Gregory Street, Naenae, Lower Hutt, 5011.
Orders can be cancelled at any time prior to the physical shipment/dispatch of the goods. In these situations a full refund will be issued to the customers credit card. Once goods have been dispatched the above stated “returns”” policy will come into effect.
6. Payment Options
Payment methods are;
- Credit Cards and Debit Cards – The card payment (ie payment gateway and card processing) facilities are provided by Paymark/Worldline (secure and reliable New Zealand based digital payment providers).
- Internet Banking – Pay Pet Food Club invoice similar to paying any other utility bills. Log into your bank account and use internet banking to pay Pet Food Club invoices. A tax invoice is emailed on creation and renewal of subscription orders. Our bank account details for Internet Banking is

7. Privacy Policy
Pet Food Club takes responsible steps to protect the personal information of our customers. Our privacy policy outlines our approach to privacy and how we collect, use and protect your personal information. We do not save or retain customers’ credit card or bank account information on our server. All payment facilities are provided by Paymark, highly reliable and secure New Zealand based digital banking providers.
Controls are in place to protect any customer information stored on our servers and systems, ensuring that these details are only accessible by authorised personnel for authorised reasons. We make no warranty in respect of the strength or effectiveness and accept no responsibility for events arising from unauthorised access of the information you provide.

Any personal information we collect, is done so when you perform a transaction on our website, register, subscribe to our newsletter or contact us. Information we collect includes your name, address, email, phone number and delivery address.

To ensure petfoodclub.co.nz is a secure and safe experience, Pet Food Club has engaged Paymark/Worldline as the payment gateway service providers for processing credit card transactions. Transactions are processed though secure Worldline Click payments solution.
